They gathered before classes started this morning in solidarity with their colleagues in the history department who have been falsely accused of anti-Semitic and anti-Trump bias. But really Newton North teachers — along with Superintendent David Fleishman, Principal Henry Turner, residents, parents and students — were there to stand up for as, one speaker put it “the good people of Newton” who deserve a school system where teachers are allowed to teach.  There’s a video of the live stream here.
