City Councilor John Rice just reached out to announce that the free outdoor skating rink at the Hyde Center is now open and that the (also free) skating at the Cove in Auburndale will open at 10 a.m. Sunday.

    Awesome. Where does one get skates that they may use only once or twice?

      haven’t been there in years but the Ice House in Wellesley does it used to sell used skates.
