There were 9,668 State Ballots cast in Newton during early voting and 9,618 Special Municipal Ballots cast for the two marijuana ballot questions, City Clerk David Olson reports.

Of the nearly 10,000 Newton voters who cast early ballots, only 50 didn’t vote on the pot shop questions? I’m not sure how to interpret that but it’s an interesting data point!
