Tonight: Newton Police host National Night Out

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie, with events Tuesday (Aug. 7) taking place around the Newton Police Station, including Capt. John Ryan Park, from 5-8 p.m.

    If you didn’t go, you missed a GREAT time! Kudos to NPD for putting such a great event together.

    Awesome event, I really hope they do it again. This is exactly the kind of thing that helps us build our community and strengthen our bonds.

    They did a great job! Glad to see Cptn. Ryan Park go to such good use! And free snacks and ice cream are always a draw. Way to go NPD.

    Was really bummed to have missed this event. It’s great to see our amazing NPD setting a high bar for neighboring communities in terms of connectedness and outreach.
