Reconstruction of the Joseph Thompson foot bridge which provided a nice connection between Nonantum and Watertown Square was originally planned to be in place by the end of 2017. The new bridge arrived Wednesday, Watertown News reports.

It’s about time! Very unhappy with how long it’s taking to complete the bridge. I hope it will be done before the Dealtry pool opens. It’s a much longer walk for kids to have to walk all the way around.
