Do you ever find yourself wishing you could join folks on this and other blogs who attach a profile photo to their comments? Here’s how:
Go to gravatar.com and create what is known as an avatar. The email address you use to post comments here must be the same as the email address you use when you sign up for an avatar on Gravatar.
Gravatar, it is easy, free, quick and we are not aware of any problems with it. no spam, no identity issues, nothing. But it is a third party site.
You don’t HAVE to use that site, you can use whatever one you wish, you can Google “avatar” and choose.
And if you value your anonymity you don’t have to use your “actual” image either. Pick any photo that would look good in a small space.
Thanks for the idea of not an actual photo, and “any photo that would look good in a small space.” Here goes; thanks a few billion!
I loved seeing TR’s pic at the top of this thread. Perhaps the greatest President in American history. A genuine leader who truly belongs on Mt. Rushmore. If TR were around today, there is zero chance he’d be a Republican. Not just because the Republicans rejected his candidacy in favor of [incumbent] Taft 100+ years ago. But because Donald Trump is a slap in the face to everything Teddy Roosevelt stood for.
Hooray!
I was actually searching the site docs for this the other day… could not figure it out. Thank you so much for posting.
@Anne Alvarado – Good idea. We just added the avatar instruction page to the main menu so that in the future people will be able to find it themselves.
I love gravatar and have many different ones for various emails. I urge everyone to do it.
Thanks Jerry!
Thanks!
