Please join me in welcoming back Hedy Jarras and all of the wonderful folks who have worked at and patronized Sweet Tomatoes over the years back to the West Newton location, on the corner of Washington and Watertown Streets. YAAAAAY! So glad it’s re-opened.
I spoke to the store owner, Hedy Jarras, who is looking forward to welcoming old and new customers alike back to Sweet Tomatoes in West Newton Square after an eighteen month hiatus. And I should also mention that, as a token of her appreciation, Sweet Tomatoes is offering a free slice to all Newton Police Officers, Firefighters and EMTs!
The solar eclipse heralded the opening! Remember Dean Martin singing “When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie…that’s amore!?” Welcome back, Sweet Tomatoes! Glad you and the sun have returned!
