A reminder to candidates: If you are running for mayor, city council or school committee you have until 11:59 pm on Tuesday Aug. 1 to submit a guest blog post on Village 14. There’s no limit to words and the approach is up to you. You can see examples of what other candidates have done here. Please include a head shot and submit your column as a Word or Google doc please. One YouTube video link is welcome too. (Directions here.)

I wanted to thank all the candidates who have participated in this. I’ve learned a lot. But I also admit that I’m surprised by all those who haven’t.
For example, so far only two of the mayoral and two school committee candidates have participated…what’s up with that? .
As I’ve said before Village 14 readers aren’t likely voters they will vote in both our preliminary and general city election.
