Newton’s Planning Department is hosting an information session on accessory apartments this Thursday July 13 from 7-8:30 p.m. at American Legion Post 440. This is an opportunity to learn more about Accessory Apartments and how they may benefit you:
- What is an Accessory Apartment?
- How would an Accessory Apartment benefit me?
- Am I eligible to create one?
- Do I qualify for financing to renovate an apartment and bring it up to code?
The session is jointly hosted by the Planning Department, Inspectional Services, the Council on Aging and the Department of Senior Services. All are welcome, and there will be time for individual questions. If you plan to attend, please RSVP at [email protected].”
