So grateful for Emily’s return to Newton. Adorable picture Emily!!
Love the Newton Girl’s Soccer t-shirt!
I know how Emily feels about being back here because I share her feelings and emotions about coming back to live here. 40 years ago I was living happily and productively in Washington, D.C. and working at a dream job at the Environmental Protection Agency, (EPA). I never, in my wildest imagination, thought I’d be back living in the family home in Newton Highlands in 2015. I am so glad that a weird twist of events made this all possible and I’m particularly pleased to be far away and gone from all the insanity, deceit and nastiness that has enveloped Washington since those halcyon days of the 1970’s. Boston and Newton have problems, but there is a far healthier sense of purpose and community here than there is in Washington.
Those are all great stories. Love Emily’s, in particular, with the family photos, NGS T, and a mean skid mark on her knee!
Great story and photos!
