Don’t know if Rob is still reading Village 14…but he definitely was a fan of this blog while he was our Director of Sustainability, a fact he relayed to me at a recent Waban Area Council sponsored “Future Visions of Waban” meeting! He offered our group a fount of information that will serve us well in any recommendations we make when painting our future portrait of Waban as we would like to see it in the next few decades. He also has helped Newton save mucho moolah through our enrollment in energy incentive programs under his direction.
Rob said he knew me through my postings on this site! I guess that’s proof that knowledgeable people read what we say here!
Best of luck to Rob at MassDOT. Some might see MassDOT’s gain as Newton’s loss. I see MassDOT’s gain as our having found a friend at MassDOT!!!!!
Our loss is definitely the state’s gain. Between Stephanie Pollack and her new chief of staff, Newton is well represented at DOT! (“Psst… sure would like to see a few of those DMUs here…”)
