I thought I was hallucinating when I saw these this morning.
Could it be…a sign of life??

Like.
Crocus? Snow cover has probably been keeping them insulated.
If you look closely you will see tree buds are swelling. Saw trace of green peeking through on some Norway maple buds the other day. 🙂
Where’s the like button when you need it?!
ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!
This has been a long, tough winter and the first in several years I was unable to get away. For the past 5 years I’ve taken daily walks over to Wyman Street in Waban beginning on or about the middle of February. There’s a crack in a stone wall near the corner of Woodward Street where a huge (and I mean huge) white snowdrop bursts into bloom each year. One year, it was out on the 12th of February, Lincoln’s Birthday. I walked down there yesterday and it still isn’t anywhere in sight.
