Newton police arrested the driver of a private snow plow after he reportedly pushed snow from private property onto a public way, struck an officer and refused to stop plowing, Newton Patch reports.

Bizarre! It reminds me of a little kid covering their ears and saying “nah nah nah” so that they can’t hear you. If I just tune the policeman out and ignore him he will no longer exists.
Unfortunately, the core behavior being cited, pushing snow from private property onto a public is a very common practice. The net effect is often a narrowing on streets already plowed by the city, creating tricky driving conditions. More of these incidents ought to be reported.
