B.J. Novak and Newton pals once pranked MFA

B.J. Novak, star of “The Office” told David Letterman the other day about the time he replaced audio-guided tour tapes for an ancient Chinese art exhibit with a version made at home in Newton, with help from the Newton Free Library.
