Paul Turano, chef and owner of Arlington’s Tryst, will open his second restaurant, Cook, at the former Lam’s location in Newtonville (825 Washington St.) next month, Brooklyn Lowery from Patch reports.
Another new restaurant coming to Newtonville

Well that’s just plumb awesome. The name “cook” was rather indescript on the building permit.
Seriously, while Lam’s was good, this should be another restaurant hub for Newtonville. Cool stuff.
Between this and the NEW Amigos restraurant going in near the pet store, I’m really excited.
(also Subway, but that doesn’t get me excited)
