Did I read it right? Dolores Hamilton hired herself for Labor relations?
Also, if Rooney’s statement is right and we constantly are working with a 5% turnover rate, doesn’t it raise questions? City Hall has been running in a smooth capacity at 95% employed, doesn’t it beg the question: Is the city of Newton atleast overstaffed by 5%? Can we function as good at 95% staffed, than at 100% staffed? If so, what then?
This is a non-story. The people at City Hall serve at the discretion and pleasure of the mayor. But I would like a bit of off-topic clarification… What does it mean when a blog thread is posted by “Village 14,” rather than an individual?
