Thanks Mayor Warren, Superintendent Fleishman, Chief Proia, our first responders, our clergy and student singers from Newton South and Newton North for the vigil this evening remembering the victims of Newtown Newton. The tone and tempo of the event were just right.

BTW, while I’m among those who’ve complained about the acoustics at the War Memorial, the student choir sounded magical last night. Obviously we just need to ask the mayor and other speakers to sing their comments from now on.
Greg, when the War Memorial is full of people, as it was last night, with or without amplification, the acoustics seem better. In any event, I agree that the Newton North/Newton South high school choir did sound “magical.”
