Following the success of Newton’s first ever Cash Mob in Auburndale tomorrow, there’s a second one happening tomorrow (Saturday)
We’re asking folks to meet at 10 a.m. in front of Morningsilver Gallery (1276 Washington St.). Then we’ll fan out across West Newton, exploring the many stores, restaurants and service businesses.
We’re hoping everyone will commit to spending $10 or more that morning.
After exploring and shopping for about an hour, we’ll meet up again at Keltic Krust (1371 Washington) for informal socializing.
At the last Cash Mob, a donor gave us ten ten dollar bills to hand out the attendees. We have no idea if that will happen again – but do you really want to miss a chance to find out?

Even on a dreary day like today … I think we had a pretty good turn out. We managed to get some more Holiday goodies and discovered some totally cool items in the square.
