Mazel Tov!
Wish Elsie were still here, but I bet she’s smiling somewhere.
Great photo!
It is a great photo. And this appears to be the only video that so far has made it onto YouTube…
Apropos of nothing but what does Greer Tan Swiston think about this union?
Best comment I saw in the Twitterverse was from @pourmecoffee: “I bet Barney Frank and husband are working on their Gay Agenda, which right now is probably writing thank-you notes.”
Great tweet! Mazel tov to Barney.
I met Jim Ready’s mother and sister today, for a story that should be in Wednesday’s Lowell Sun. (Ready grew up in Tewksbury.) They are both delightful and funny. After hearing how they’d met the President and Michelle Obama at the last White House congressional cookout, our reporter said there are some perks to having a family member married to a congressman, and Jim’s sister said the biggest perk is how happy her brother is. And apparently he has the same effect on Barney — she said people come up to Jim when’s he’s at Congress and say “I knew you were here; Barney Frank was nice to me today.”
@Kim not that I would want to judge anyone simply from a picture, but I think they look very happy. I wish our congressman a very happy retirement and best wishes for his new beginnings.
Our story about Jim Ready and the wedding ran today:

Our reporter Joyce Tsai reached Jim Ready for a phone interview.
Fantastic video Julia. I’ve posted to a new thread.
Thank you for responding Greer.
