Safe Rides, a program stated in 2009 that provides rides to students who are in potentially unsafe situations, will be discontinued starting June 16 due to a lack of utilization, the Newtonite reports.

This is too bad. It was a great idea. It’d be interesting to know why the kids didn’t take advantage of it.
