Is it just me, or this weekend (weekend before Memorial Day) the busiest one of the year? My family is booked pillar-to-post from 3 this afternoon through Sunday evening. Maybe the weekend of the Harvest Fair compares. Maybe.
Busiest weekend of the year?

And you don’t even have someone going to the Junior Semi-Formal….
Well, um, actually a pretty nice little Saturday, we’re going to go to Home Depot. Yeah, buy some wallpaper, maybe get some flooring, stuff like that. Maybe Bed, Bath, & Beyond, I don’t know, I don’t know if we’ll have enough time.
Yup – soccer, more soccer, baseball, May Fair at the Burr School, a dinner at church, a meeting, a birthday party, and, finally, soccer.
What a great weekend to be in Newton!
On Saturday we hopped on our bikes and made a handful of Newton Open Studio visits then headed over to Newton South for the Celebrity Basketball Game and then to the plant sale at Newton Community Farms. On Sunday, we went back to the farm for some additional plants and then got back on the bikes for some more artists visits. I only regret that I missed the parade. Next year.
@Greg – sounds like you had an awesome weekend! I wasn’t able to hit up as much as I wanted in between New Phil concerts (which were sensational, if I do say so myself!) but I did manage to make it to Relay for Life for the 1am-2am loop. I’m going to start campaigning for a Village 14 team next year. That event should easily be full of people but it was unfortunately quiet – though it was awesome to see a few teens stop by after prom (not even pajamas can mask the long-lasting effects of having one’s hair did.)
