Don’t be a slug: Register now for Newton Serves

| Newton MA News and Politics BlogThe annual Newton Serves is happening this Sunday and tomorrow (Tuesday April 24) is your last day you can  register online. 

Volunteers are needed to work in teams on projects — such as cleaning up parks, planting gardens, building and painting school bookshelves, spring cleaning at non-profit organizations and helping our senior citizens — across Newton.

    Why didn’t they make the Nahanton farm stand part of this? It would have been an actual barn-raising of sorts. darn

    Just signed up for Dolan Pond invasive plant pull (garlic mustard). Spaces still available! I’ve been there before for weed pulls; it’s making a difference.
