Open Crystal Lake, an activist group supporting at-your-own-risk swimming at Crystal Lake (but, it should be noted, against nakedness, drunkenness, and other activities at the lake), is organizing a walk-by-the-lake this afternoon at 5. The web site names no supporters, but I’ve seen the high-quality poster around town.

I’m reading their website. Well-written, but I gotta say, trying to read yellow type on semi-transparent gray background superimposed on a photo is really annoying, almost as annoying as trying to read Huntington Theatre program info on pastel backgrounds in the dark.
Were any of you there this evening? Was there a crowd?
