Just makes my stomach sink. Terrible.
Very sad. May the spirit of the holy season provide some comfort.
Very sad, with many questions left to be answered.
Among them: How is it that the body was not found sooner, given the extensive searches of the reservoir earlier this year?
My heart goes out to the family of Franco Garcia. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at what must be a very difficult time.
Thoughts and prayers for Franco Garcia’s friends and family.
A very sad end to this tragic story. Condolences to the family. It’s a small comfort, but at least they have some closure.
Obviously the first question now must be what happened? How did this young man end up in the reservoir? As soon as that answer is known, the authorities have some very serious questions to answer about their failure to find this body sooner. This is a fairly small body of water and it’s completely inexplicable and totally unacceptable that police failed to find the body sooner.
Prayers out to the Garcia family and all families living with missing love ones … what a harrowing time it’s been for them. I know the actual confirmation will come with the autopsy. I do pray for them, whatever the outcome.
We are still looking for a childhood friend of mine, Jerry Tang who went missing in 2005. He went missing from California, but he’s originally from Framingham and given his mental state at the time of disappearance, we don’t know if tried to “come home”.
There isn’t a day that goes by that we aren’t praying for him and his parents, brother and sister, wife and children.
Prayers to the Garcia family. Prayers to all families who are “in search of …”
Such a sad outcome. My thoughts are with the family.
Tragic. I cannot imagine how much his family is suffering right now, losing their son this way. I will hold his family in the light as the Quakers say. As to why his body was not found earlier, maybe he wasn’t killed right away, or maybe they held onto his body and then placed it there after the search was over in order to delay it being found. I am sure we will find out more soon.
