Newton aldermen approve purchase of Beacon Street homes for Zervas project

Newton’s Board of Aldermen voted 18-5 Monday night to appropriate $2.415 million to purchase 1316, 1330, and 1338 Beacon St. for the Zervas School project, the Newton TAB reports.

    For me and many other people this is not really very good news.

    And for others the acquisition of the properties and their use are related but distinct issues.
