The TAB had an interesting story this week about Newton’s Pizzapalooza. Owner Steve Yanoff says lease for his space across from Marshall’son Needham Street is up next month and he’s looking to the public to help him find a new location.
Right now he’s looking in Newton Highlands and Newton Centre for a new spot, and is asking the community for help.
“Some of our customers are actively looking and are devastated. We’ve seen families grow from people dating to having their children,” Yanoff said. “We’ve been around a generation already. It’s fun to see that and participate in it and we don’t want to lose that.”
Any suggestions for Yanoff?
Bakers BEST old location
I second that! Especially is they’d stay open at night and kept selling ice cream.
As long as they wouldn’t drive the existing pizza place on Lincoln St. out of business.
Find a too-big location and set up a shared food court. Baker’s Best might work.
If they want to keep to a similar size there are a couple of other spaces on Lincoln St. Baker’s Best is very big for the current footprint. I would like the option of walking to pick up my occasional vegetariano.
how about the location to be vacated by newtonville books? Or the former Ctsars?
Or, even better, the old antique store next to dunkin donuts in Newtonville.
What’s going where the two Filene’s basement buildings are?
