It’s been a hard year for everyone so the city’s Parks & Rec Department is working overtime to put together a great 2021 summer program. By this summer, without a doubt, lots of Newton resident will have been vaccinated and most of them are more likely than not to present no infectious risk to those around them.
Sign up today for the All-Newton Bobbing for Apples Championship at Ablemarle Playground. Each set of four kids will simultaneously stick their head in that bucket of warm water. The first one to come out with an apple in their teeth is the winner.
For the teenagers in your crew, they may want to sign up for a shot at becoming their village’s Spin the Bottle champ. Win, lose, or draw they’ll have a chance to lock lips with a dozen other teenagers.
