Take a break from back to school angst, election angst, people aren’t wearing masks angst, zoning reform angst, and just overall general angst and enjoy this virtual concert consisting of a selection of New Philharmonia’s string players performing Felix Mendelssohn’s String Symphony No. 10.
Thank you! I play in the new phil and miss our rehearsals dearly!

…not to mention how-will-Cam-Newton-do-with-the-Pats angst.
Lovely – just what I needed!
Fabulous! What an unexpected treat
Greg. Thanks for posting. What a musical treat this is. I’ve enjoyed Mendelssohn’s first five symphonies on more occasions than I can remember, but I never stopped to think he might have written six more. I’ll have to take a listen to all of them. His Scottish and Italian symphonies are among the best of the best.
Perfect, Greg. Thanks!
Greg, Thank you for posting, this is amazing, a beautiful piece. I am on the board of the New Philharmonia Orchestra and feel so lucky to have such a gift in our community of incredibly dedicated musicians, all volunteers, who love bringing music for all to enjoy. I miss their concerts but it is obvious that they are still practicing together.
Love this! Thanks for sharing.
