One of the great pleasures of this summer is that it has provided a way to safely see old friends.  A little distance. a little common sense, and an outdoor setting has let us catch up with some old friends after being months apart.  Alas, as we go into September we all know that comfortable evenings in the backyard day’s are numbered.

Before the cold weather arrives, take this opportunity to splurge and throw a “petite party”.  My friend Chris Osborn is the proprietor of Better Life Food and is an amazing chef who caters everything from huge events (Feast of the Falls, big weddings) to intimate parties in homes.   Like everyone else in the hospitality  industry Better Life Food has been struggling to keep afloat.

Chris has put together a concept for these Covid times – the “Petite Party”.  Invite your friends or family to your back yard and Better Life Food can turn it into a very special night.  They’ll provide a fabulous menu, set up up to eight safely spaced high-top tables in your yard (one for each Covid19 bubble of guests).  If you like, they’ll provide staff who are very experienced in food handling and other Covid 19 logistics.

| Newton MA News and Politics BlogIt’s probably been a very long time since you’ve eaten in your favorite restaurant so bring a fine restaurant to your back yard for a “petite party”.  This year is likely to be a very long winter.  So before the cold weather rolls in, enjoy the warm evenings and throw yourself a petite party.

Contact Better Life Food for all the details or just pick up the phone and call Chris at 781-354-2077.  You won’t be disappointed.
