While our Fire Chief was protecting us from COVID-19 he lost his beautiful mother to the virus. This is truly tragic, and my heartfelt condolences go out to the Chief and his family.
I’ve been meaning to comment on this post but lost track with the back and forth about opening streets to pedestrian traffic. I sat at a table with Mrs. Lucchetti during a political function at the 440 many years back. I’m almost certain it was one of several fundraisers I attended for Joe DeNucci but can’t say for certain. She was charming, gracious with a spry sense of humor. My sincerest condolences to Chief Lucchetti. Joe”s fundraisers were special. I’m convinced the cost for the food and beverages had to be almost equal to the requested donation.
