Five dead, 46 infected, at Newton senior care facility

Five people have died of the coronavirus at the Falls at Cordingly Dam. An additional 46 have been diagnosed with the illness at the senior care facility on Washington Street. The TAB’s report is here. The Globe’s here.

    Beyond horrible! My heart goes out to those loved ones left behind. Our community owes a deep debt of gratitude to those people caring for the sick from this senior living center. It’s a stark reminder of why we must remain vigilant here in Newton until this sad time in world history has passed.
