As previously relayed, the Mayor should be more than commended for addressing the critical importance of preserving Webster Woods. Since in the video, the predicate of addressing climate change is raised for this endeavor, there are individuals such as myself who are more than 100% actively in favor of preserving Webster Woods for the purposes of environmental and habitat preservation and enhancement, as well as quality of life for Newton residents, yet remain unconvinced that carbon dioxide be deemed a pollutant. Hence, there are certainly those who fully support preservation of Webster Woods on the basis of environmental protection, irrespective of the question of climate change.
