Newton has a wonderful tradition and it is coming around again.

Every year the Newton School Foundation holds an event called Newton Inspires at Newton South.  They round up a dozen+ Newton residents who do interesting things for a night of lectures on a wide variety of eclectic topics.  This year it is on Tues Nov 12, 7 – 9:30 PM.

The event is free if you are a Newton resident and $15 if you’re not.  In each of three back-to-back time slots, you choose a speaker to hear.   Better still there are complimentary snacks from local businesses before it starts.

It’s all the best parts about being in school again for a night … without the homework.
