Today’s Newton Report (free sign up here) from the Boston Globe has a story about a new city sponsored public art project.
The wonderfully titled Make Poetry Concrete project is casting ten poems into concrete sidewalks around the city. The first few are already done (Oak & Christina Sts., Horace Mann School, F. A. Day School), with seven more to come by the end of the year.
Thanks to B.U. journalism student Anju Miura for alerting me to something great happening right under my nose.

This is great! I’d love to see a page on the city website showing the locations and also the poems, so we can all read them.
So excited this has come to fruition. It has been exciting supporting Grey in his efforts to get this off the ground.
He’s like the Jerry of poetry!
