Enjoy your retirement Bob.
You will missed!
You will be missed!
There are so many great things to say about Bob DeRubeis. I have never heard anything said disparagingly about him in my presence. Only good. But for my money, his single greatest achievement was to forge an agreement between dog owners and dog skeptics at Cold Spring Park after a protracted battle that dragged on for years. Dog related issues sucked almost all the oxygen out of my first two years on the Highlands Area Council and it produced some very wild shouting matches and even a bit of profanity at more than one council meeting. Bob was a master negotiator who floated above the fray. He was able to win the trust of every faction for a solution that was fair, practical and workable. He will be missed.
Bob is a hardworking, dedicated public servant, and he will be missed. Best of luck going forward!
Bob is a great Commissioner with a loyal and capable team that he captains. We have been working with him on developing Waban Common (across from Angier School) and he has often helped to make the impossible possible. I and our Waban Common Board of Directors will miss his leadership. I wonder what he’s up to next.
We’re losing a good guy. We’ll miss you Bob
Great Job Bob! Wish you the Best!
