Plans are afoot once again to bring a mile long outdoor art exhibition to Newton this summer – but we need your help.
Fundraising has begun for an outdoor two month sculpture exhibition along the Upper Falls Greenway in June. The show is the work of N2 Innovation District, in partnership with Studios Without Walls and the New Art Center. Each artist will pick their own location somewhere along the Greenway and create a sculpture to fit the space. If last year’s show is any indication you can expect a wide variety of styles, materials, and locations. You can expect the unexpected – some beauty, some whimsy, some mystery.
Please consider making a donation big or small (though we do love big ;-)) to help fill the woods with art this summer.
I loved the exhibit last year, and am sure this year’s will be equally fantastic. I even took tourists to visit—and they were suitably impressed (of course we biked)
