Looks like turnout was 13, 673 today, vs. 12,732 in the 2014 state primary. That’s a positive!
My husband applied for an absentee ballot well before the deadline on a Friday, August 31. He never received a ballot. My daughter tells me the same thing happened to several of her college friends. Bill Galvin is responsible for processing those ballots, and the direct beneficiary of the failure to do his job properly. He also personally chose a date that would benefit him as a candidate, since it ensured his opponent would have limited opportunity to campaign while families were away, ensured that college kids would be crazy busy with moving in and have no time/knowledge to register. How is it democratic for one of the candidates to b entirely in a charge of his own electoral process? I cry foul!
