While the LigerBots, Newton’s FIRST Robotics team gets a lot of attention for, well, robotics, it’s also about developing a series of other skills. This week the parent organization selected our Safety Animation as the top in the world! This mean’s it’ll be played at the start of many competitions, including the major national and international competitions.

Also worth noting, this weekend marks the start of build season with the announcement of this year’s challenge. We already know it’ll be a game called “Power Up” and is likely to have an 80s video game theme, but the full game will become known through a worldwide broadcast on Saturday morning.
