… West Newton will have it all.

This Saturday, Dec 9, West Newton is the 7th Annual Arts Stroll & Shop from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in West Newton Square. It’s a celebration of local business and local arts.

Come shop in local West Newton businesses and enjoy all kinds of performances and special deals throughout the day – discounts on services, raffles, refreshments, arts and crafts, and more.  Performers include City Councilor Ted Hess-Mahan, Members of the New Philharmonia Orchestra, All Newton Music School Faculty, Suzuki School of Newton Students and Faculty, and the First Unitarian Society of Newton Choir.

 West Newton restaurant Paddy’s Public House will once again be hosting their Ugly Sweater Contest and will feature singer-songwriter Sam Robbins from 1-4pm;

The event is hosted by the Newton Cultural Alliance.  Head over to their new home at the historic Allen House at 35 Webster St in the afternoon for live music, a photo exhibit, and refreshments and a tour of their beautifully restored premises.  Be sure to ask them about the 75? seat performance space that they’ll begin working on soon.

Don’t worry about a bit of snow.  Head down to West Newton for a winter stroll.
