Newton’s four Neighborhood Area Councils — Newton Highlands, Newton Upper Falls, Newtonville and Waban — will present a moderated discussion for all At-large City Council candidates in contested races at 1:30 pm, on Sunday, October 8, 2017, at Angier Elementary School’s cafeteria/auditorium. The event is free and open to the public.
Andy Levin, Newton Tab Editor, will moderate the discussion.
Meet the candidates who are running citywide for positions on the Newton City Council. On Election Day, November 7, 2017, you can choose to vote for up to two candidates from each ward in which two or more people are running.
Angier Elementary School is located at 1697 Beacon St., Waban.
We are happily expecting all 13 of the At-large candidates for City Council seats in competitive races to attend! Every one of them has accepted our invitation! Join us on Oct 8 and see them all…a great way to inform your vote!
Judging by the number of signs that have been ‘flowering’ in people yards, the exchange of opinions should be interesting.
