My name is Bridget Ray-Canada and I’m excited to announce that I will be a candidate for School Committee from Ward 1. In 2013, my husband, Darrell Ray-Canada, who is a native of Boston and I relocated to Newton because of a job promotion. We had the option of living in Boston, Quincy or Newton and we chose Newton because of its educational excellence reputation. We have two children, an adult daughter Tiffanni who resides in Georgia and a son, Kyle Ray-Canada, who is a rising junior at Newton North High School.
