This is truly great news. I don’t know if there are any strings attached to this, but it’s probably worth it. This stretch of open space in the heart of Newton is priceless.
I’ll believe it when I see it. This is something that should have been addressed a year ago, before BC had such a strong upper hand.Has Mayor Warren ever once played hardball with his alma mater BC? Just today he announced what he called a “historic partnership” with BC, allegedly to address “income inequality.” The resulting document certainly identifies the issue, but stops well short of actually solving anything. It reads more like a position paper for a gubernatorial campaign rather than a true attempt to actually solve any problem.
