Ron Jordan’s resignation concludes the nine-year relationship between the old-school coach who rarely minces words and the South High athletic department, the TAB’s Scott Souza reports.
Jordan said his differences with [South principal Dr. Joel] Stembridge and South High athletic director Patricia Gonzalez included aspects of how the team fundraised and how he was able to construct his own coaching staff. But one of the bigger areas of conflict came on the amount of practice time he had with the players each day.
