I have it from a very good source — my mail carrier — that a coyote attacked a dog in Newton Highlands (south of Route 9) over the weekend. I don’t have any additional information. But it’s a good reminder to pay attention.

Gail, can you get details from your mail carrier? Time of day? Size of the dog? leashed or unleashed? Those of us with little kids and dogs would appreciate the info.
Thanks.

My dog was the one bitten. She’s an 8 pound maltipoo who was bitten at 8:30am in our fenced in yard. The fence is 3 feet in some areas and 4 feet in others.
