Most of us know Greg Reibman as Village 14’s founder and most prolific blogger but fewer know about Greg’s culinary prowess.
Here’s a Facebook post by filmmaker Beth Harrington.
So my friend Billie Best found this – The Boston Rock ‘n’ Roll Cookbook by Monika Bolino and gave it to me when I saw her over the holidays. And now a recipe for you! First up, tasty oatmeal pancakes from Greg Reibman and Cindy Bailen!
Um, gee thanks Jerry, I guess.
Back in mid-80s if you wanted to share discoveries of new foods (fajitas!) and hip new beverages (Conona) with friends back home in a distant land (Boston), you couldn’t use Facebook, Twitter or a blog so you used a cookbook.
BTW, we still make this recipe nearly every Sunday, except we now use soy milk, instead of juice, and oat flower, so they are gluten free.
