   Clinton may have won the popular vote here in newton but Rocky de le Fuente surpassed all expectations and surged with 11 votes. Clearly there are lots more people than just me and Terry Malloy on the Rocky bandwagon – nine more in fact.

   It’s a real treat to work with Tim Snyder, Peg Hannigan, Rodney Barker and all of Bernie’s other free spirits in Newton.

   I’d also like to thank Newton Democratic City Committee Chairman Shawn Fitzgibbons for the fair, friendly and even handed support he gave to our Newton campaign.

   Thanks also to Andy Levin at the TAB who printed every letter, news release and campaign article I submitted.

   It’s a small miracle we came as close as we did in Massachusetts. We
