Bomb threat at Newton North

According to Newton Patch, crews are at Newton North responding to a bomb threat received in a note.

We’ll post more information as we have it. Please share if you know anything.

UPDATE HERE: Police determine no threat.

    Here’s an update sent via email from Mark Aronson…

    NHS Families,
    I am writing to give you an update regarding an incident at Newton North HS this morning. At approximately 10:20 AM threatening graffiti was discovered in a bathroom. Together with Newton Police and Fire Departments, we determined that there was not an immediate threat to the building. We are continuing to investigate the incident as a school disciplinary matter. As always, we take safety and security very seriously and we will keep you informed if we receive any additional information regarding this matter.
