In Joshua Miller’s front-page Boston Globe story about Representative Katherine Clark, D-Melrose, he listed Newton Mayor Setti Warren on “activists’ perpetual list of candidates” to run against Gov. Charlie Baker in 2018.
In addition to Clark, who has ruled out such a run, Miller wrote:
“(Among the others on the list: Mayor Setti D. Warren of Newton, state Senator Daniel A. Wolf; and two people with stronger political pedigrees, Attorney General Maura Healey, who has ruled out a 2018 gubernatorial bid, and Mayor Martin J. Walsh of Boston, who has not.)”
