West Newton resident Jabari Asim finally had that meeting with Mayor Setti Warren and Police Chief Howard Mintz last month to express his displeasure about a citation police pursued against him this summer – and to seek assurances police officers would not pay special attention to him or his family moving forward, Jonathan Dame of the TAB reports.

Thanks for posting this article. I hoped you would when I read it in the Tab. And thank you Jonathan for continuing to follow this story.
The conclusion of this mess is the police chief gives the person who was wronged reassurances that’s there won’t be repercussions against him and his family because he fought a bogus ticket and that the police chief stands by his officer.
When I read this when it appeared in the Tab, I was struck again by the chief “standing by his man” sounding like a repetitive Patsy Cline who probably shouldn’t have stood by her man either.
