Once again, Upper Falls is going to throw a hell of a neighborhood party. The 3rd annual Feast of the Falls will be held on Sunday June 28.
The Upper Falls neighborhood feast in Hemlock Gorge is bumping up the number of guests from 300 – 350 this year .. all at a single table. There’ll be more guests, more music, and all the amazing food as in years past.
The first-come-first-served free tickets for Upper Falls residents will be distributed on Sunday June 14 at 5 PM on FeastOfTheFalls.org. Don’t worry if you don’t live in the Falls, you’ll have an opportunity to bid on tickets the week of June 14. We’ll post the details here on Village14 when the auction kicks off.
Check out this short video that Jim Lerner made at last year’s Feast. It shows what it’s all about.
I loved it. And Ted should quit his day gig! Who knew!
You mean he should stop commenting on Village 14?
Never!!
Perhaps I should have said he should quit his night gig so he can play more.
Thank you. Thank you very much.
There’s a bit of a buzz in the air this weekend in Upper Fall. There are signs hanging around the neighborhood. Neighbors are dropping flyers in neighbor’s mailboxes. Sunday night at exactly 5 PM the entire neighborhood will simultaneously log on to http://FeastOfTheFalls.org to try to snap up the free tickets for Upper Falls residents.
For the rest of you, from the other 12 villages, we’ll begin the on-line auction for the remaining tickets on Monday.
If you’ve never been you should consider it this year. It’s an amazing event and I’m sure that you’ve never seen anything quite like it.
